Question: What crystals are beneficial for stress, and how do I use them?

Answer:

Hello!

Thank you for reaching out to Healing Crystals! I can certainly help answer your questions. Your questions are a little tricky, because there isn't one definitive answer. Everyone is different, just as every crystal is different, and some people will find great success with one crystal, where another feels that it hasn't helped at all. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), it's a matter of trying them out and seeing what works for you. It can also depend on the cause of your stress. Some people need a grounding stone for this and find that tourmaline works best. Others might be experiencing stress because they feel they aren't communicating well with others, and in their case, blue lace agate may be best.

I will include some links below to some crystals that are considered beneficial for stress relief. You can take a look at them and see if you feel yourself drawn to any of them. That would be a clue that it's a good one for you to try:

Amber, Aquamarine, Rainbow Fluorite, and Rainbow Moonstone.

As far as natural versus tumbled, that again is a matter of preference. I find that I like my quartz raw and everything else tumbled, but that's just me. Both ways are fine and equally effective.

Your last question, I have crystals everywhere and I have never experienced a "too much" dilemma. I do keep my tumbles separated by type in a bead sorter so that I can easily find the ones I need and my larger crystals are displayed around the house. Now, if I am using the crystal to "fix" something or solve a specific problem, I prefer to use 1-3 crystals at a time that all align with the issue I'm using them for. This is something that you'll need to trial and error for yourself. Sometimes you'll find you connect strongly with 1 crystal, and that's all you need. Sometimes, you'll feel you want a boost of extra, and that's perfectly fine as well.

I hope I've helped answer your question. I know my advice was a bit vague, but truly, when working with crystals, you'll find it's a very unique experience to the individual and is rarely a "one-size-fits-all" solution. Use your intuition, trust your gut, and read everything you can get your hands on. You'll find that you'll be able to customize your use of crystals in a way that will greatly benefit you.

Don't forget to cleanse and clear your crystals!

Have a great day and please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
