Hi Janice,

There are a number of stones that can help with issues of self-worth/self-confidence. For instance, Chrysoprase is very helpful to aid in self-esteem and self-confidence.

Rose Quartz helps with issues of self-esteem and self-confidence by filling the space (both within and without) with love, support and encouragement.

Tiger Iron is overwhelmingly helpful in providing self-confidence and/or that boost of personal power needed to overcome any particularly difficult obstacles. It is also very protective (the dog will need to feel protected in order to protect, which is why I have included some protection stones for him).

Another stone that can help in the area of self-confidence/self-esteem as well as increasing protection is Hematite.

Other stones/crystals that can help with self-esteem and protection would include:
Green Tourmaline
Ruby
Cavansite
Citrine

Of course, it may be a good idea to look at the underlying issues that have caused the pup to lack confidence to begin with. I think this will give you a lot of insight into his behavior and offer ways to correct the behavior as well.
