Q: How did HealingCrystals.com begin?
A: “Since I was a kid I had been very interested in crystals. And, in August 2003, my wife and I were introduced to a web-designer, and we wasted no time in buying our first domain which, at that time, was HealingCrystals.biz. Soon after, we began adding items, growing and expanding; and after our first year, we saw the potential, and purchased 'HealingCrystals.com'. Since then, we've never stopped expanding!”
Q: What about crystals appealed to you so much to start a business centered around them?
A: “I am interested in them, personally. And as a business-minded individual, I felt that the market for crystals was inefficient. One can order crystals in bulk, and of mixed-quality for a very low price, and if you do the sorting, you can then resell them for a huge markup. The problem inherent with that system, however, is that it is very labor intensive, and requires a passion for crystals and minerals that many sellers may not have. We are a non-profit organization. And the purpose of this organization is to 'heal the planet, one person at a time,' which is the mission statement of our Foundation for Balance and Harmony.” (see: www.FFBH.org for more information)
Q: Why would someone want to buy crystals?
A: “Well, the simple answer is because they feel good! As stated earlier, I've been drawn to crystals since childhood, but even then I was unaware of their metaphysical potential. When I pick up crystals, I feel an effect on my body energy. It's subtle, but I feel it. If one is focused on accomplishing a goal; healing, or seeking foundation in their life, finding a crystal that feels good can help with that. When you hold it in your hand, or keep in your pocket, or purse – to be able to reach out and touch it during the day, or when you're thinking about your goals, or your worries -- can be very useful and grounding.I've worked with crystals every day since 2003. Since then, I've had a lot of time to introspect and grow as a person, dealing with issues such as family and friendships. I feel evolved as a person, both spiritually and emotionally.”
Q: What is your astrological sign?
A: “I was born on April 29th, so I'm a Taurus. It seems fitting that I'm an Earth Sign!”
Q: What's something that brings you joy?
A: “Hiking. Most definitely.”
Q: What place inspires you?
A: “Yosemite. I've been twice, and it's an amazing place!”
Q: What advice do you most value?
A: “'Focus on what you want' – Esther Hicks. If you focus on what you want, you'll notice the things that show up.”

A: “I am a huge fan of French Cuisine.”

A: “I would like to be with my family.”
