Aura Quartz is made by placing natural Quartz crystals into a vacuum chamber with vaporized metals for 12-18 hours. The “atomized” metal molecules then adhere to the surface of the Quartz through an electrostatic process. They coat it, creating the beautiful display of colors with which we are all familiar. The thin metallic coating (generally less than 1 micron thick) cannot be scratched or rubbed off. This is because it has been molecularly bonded with the surface of the Quartz. This is mostly done to small points or clusters.
Some healers prefer not to use these stones as they are not completely natural (i.e. they are a “human-encouraged” creation). However, others, including myself, consider these stones to be useful healing tools. Although the process for making these stones is not carried out within the earth, the stones are made of all-natural components. There are no man-made or synthetic additives (such as plastics or dyes). Therefore, it seems as though the Quartz simply acts as a natural amplifier to the metals bonded to it.
Angel Aura Quartz is Quartz that has been coated in platinum and silver. The thin layer of metal atoms on the surface of the Quartz would not generally be enough to use for healing purposes. However, the energy of the Quartz crystal enhances and amplifies the energy of the Platinum and Silver to the extent that they can be successfully used for healing.
These crystals are uncommon, but they’re readily available at most specialty crystal shops. Angel Aura Quartz can help you connect with angels (including Archangels and the Ascended Masters), your ancestors, and your guides. Some healers believe it acts as an energetic gateway to the angelic realm. This stone is excellent for enhancing communication with your angels and guides, especially when paired with Angelite. Angel Aura Quartz helps the communication to come through loud and clear so that there is no need for second-guessing as to the wisdom being shared.
If you’re an energy healer, try adding an Angel Aura Quartz crystal to your space to enhance the effects of the healing modalities you offer. Lapis Lazuli is a dark cobalt and indigo-blue crystal with golden flecks of Pyrite and occasional white patterning throughout. It is made from a combination of minerals, including Lazurite, Calcite and Pyrite. It is an opaque stone that is typically dull naturally, but can be polished to a glassy luster.
Lapis Lazuli is said to have been in existence since the birth of time, and was used by ancient Hebrews on ceremonial robes. It was also a very popular stone for the ancient Egyptians who knew it as the "stone of heaven" and would use it in amulets, cylinder seals, scarabs and funerary masks.
Lapis Lazuli reminds us of the power of the spoken word and is one of the best stones to use when opening and balancing the Throat Chakra. This stone helps to foster full verbal expression, and clears problems caused by “swallowing your tongue”. Lapis encourages clear, truthful expression when sharing information with others, including an easier voicing/communication of anger.
A Third Eye Chakra opener, Lapis Lazuli connects the physical and celestial kingdoms. Deeply peaceful, Lapis provides wisdom into mystical realms and connection with spiritual guardians. Lapis Lazuli can be a key to spiritual attainment.
Lapis also protects against psychic attack, shielding negative energy and returning any negative vibrations to their source.
Dream work and spiritual journeying can be enhanced when working with Lapis Lazuli. Try placing a piece next to your bed before sleeping or meditating with a piece during meditation.
