Crystal Talk in February

Mercury goes into Retrograde in February (oh goody!) so if you're looking for some crystals for support, here are our top picks to help navigate the energy a little better:

Black Tourmaline Pendant Blue Lace Agate Tumbled Stone Rainbow Fluorite Cabochon Chrysocolla Cabochons

Black Tourmaline is an excellent crystal to use during a Mercury Retrograde because it helps you stay grounded (and it's good to protect against EMF too!) Staying grounded during retrograde will enable you to stay on your intended course and help to ensure success with your efforts.

Blue Lace Agate to help with communication: that you don't communicate out of anger or impatience, but do so peacefully and calmly. It also helps you to communicate directly.

Rainbow Fluorite is a great crystal for the brain and if retrograde gives you some brain fog, meditate with Rainbow Fluorite to clear some of that and help you to stay focused at the task on hand.

Chrysocolla helps you to find peace during retrograde.

Remember that while Mercury Retrograde can be a pain when technology doesn't want to work great and communication falls apart because we lose some ability to understand each other, it's also a time to slow down. We are always hustling and bustling so take the time to be mindful of others, yourself and be a little more patient and compassionate.

Sending you patience and strength through Retrograde from Feb 17 - Mar 10!

Siobhan

Crystals to Support Love and Relationships

Crystals to Support Love and Relationships by Katy Fae (Image By marsjo on Pixabay)

February’s association to love makes it a pretty inescapable topic during the month; about as inescapable as cupid’s arrow in popular culture.

Romantic love is wonderful. We all enjoy it when we have it. But, for those times when we find ourselves solo (whether by choice or circumstance), there's a golden opportunity to focus on self-love. Of course, self-love still shouldn’t be neglected while enmeshed in partnership!

The various other types of relationships shouldn’t be neglected either. There’s also family love, friendships, professional relationships and universal love that can always be improved too. The more love of any variety that we can give and receive, the better!

Although, a particular type of love or relationship is being suggested, the featured crystals are beneficial for multiple types of love and relationships and there are many more helpful properties in addition to the select few being emphasized. I encourage you to explore the numerous advantageous properties of these crystals more in depth!

Crystals for Leadership

Crystals for Leadership by Kat Michaels

2020 energy is all about the intentional building of key foundations through concrete action. Strong foundations built this year will lead to success and happiness over the rest of the decade. However, a strong foundation - and the long-term beneficial growth that follows - can be achieved only with clear purpose, inspired leadership, and aligned action. President's Day this month is a perfect opportunity to take stock of your leadership skills and improve them where needed.

One way to assess your leadership skills is to review your strengths and weaknesses. Do you think of great ideas but falter in presenting them? Are you good at long-term planning, but do you find it tough to decide on an initial course of action? Are you skilled at teaching by example or through your writing, yet you lack confidence when in a more traditional one-on-one or group setting? Do you finish projects that you start, or do you lose steam after a certain point?

Another way to address potential areas for improvement is to review any professional or personal goals that you've set, what steps to take to reach them, and where your skills – or lack thereof - may be holding you back from taking those steps. Are you interested in a promotion at work, and what would the new job require of you? Are you hoping to expand your business, and what changes must you make to do so? Do you want to take a partnership to the next level, and what kind of personal and relationship growth do you need to get there?

Do you already have the necessary components in place for your desires, or do you need to increase your experience in a particular zone? Are there specific areas in which you simply require personal growth - i.e. clear communication, critical thought, or self-confidence?

Whatever your area of expertise - and whatever area you're working on - you can use crystals to help you improve various leadership qualities. Pair any of the crystals listed below with your focused intention to see improvement in the corresponding area. Always use your intuition to pick the best crystal for you.
