Subject: Crystals to Help With Healing and Protection

I've been reading a number of your articles pertaining to protection and healing. I am in need of a very powerful piece of wearable jewelry for both healing and protection. I recently broke my leg and suffered three (3) breaks. I'm healing slowly but was hoping to wear a stone to increase healing and mending both spiritually and physically. In addition to this, I work in a very hostile and negative energy environment. Ironically, I work for the department of energy so you can understand why I am looking for something to protect my energy field. I wanted to incorporate a number of tones on one necklace and/or bracelet. I was looking for stones that are pre-drilled; such as Hematite (my favorite), clear crystal, Black Tourmaline, Malichite and Selenite.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Ann

Hi Ann,

We currently do not carry any beads or pre-drilled stones at this time, but I would be most happy to offer some crystal suggestions. I personally love to sit a bowl of tumbled stones on my desk and around my home which can accomplish the same goals.

Let's start with some healing pieces that can specifically help your bone to mend.
Axinite and/or Golden Tiger Eye can help to mend bone breaks, fractures and help in the healing process.

Aragonite can help to speed up the recovery from broken bones and nerve damage.

Malachite is a wonderful equalizing and balancing agent. It has been used in the treatment of broken bones and torn muscles.

For healing in general, both spiritually and physically, I highly recommend Green Aventurine, Clear Quartz, and/or Amethyst.

For protection, there is nothing better, in my opinion, than Black Tourmaline.

Black Tourmaline protects the user from any type of negative or harmful energies. It repels these energies, sending them back to the one who sent/manifested them in the first place. That person then has the opportunity to learn from the experience (why did they send out that kind of energy? etc).

Black Tourmaline in Quartz (Tourmalated) would work well also in this situation.

And of course, Hematite is an excellent choice for your work environment. Hematite helps to absorb negative energy and calms you in times of stress or worry. Hematite is a very protective stone, and is great to carry to help you stay grounded in many situations.

Malachite would be an excellent stone to use in your healing progress, but probably not a piece you would want to incorporate into your working environment since many feel that it amplifies energies of all kinds, both positive and negative. If you do choose to use Malachite for the office environment, remember, it does absorb negative energy easily, so it is important to "clear" your Malachite often.

One other crystal I would highly recommend, and maybe the most important — Rose Quartz.

Rose Quartz spreads a loving energy throughout a space, place or environment. Keeping a Rose Quartz at work is especially helpful. Every time someone does something that is deemed hostile or negative, you quietly put a Rose Quartz in your hand and send love to the people involved, love to yourself, and love to your office. You may even want to keep a bowl of Rose Quartz on your desk.

Here is my reasoning :) Everyone has issues. Everyone is going through experiences and lessons. We may not always know what they are. We may not know how our coworkers are affected outside of the office or what stressors they may be silently dealing with. We may not know what started the hostility or why it continues. We just don't know.

So, instead increasing the hostile energy amongst the coworkers (the talk, the complaints, the gossip, the anger, etc all breed more hostility), you are able to remove yourself from it and send love instead. Just don't play into it, that's all. Send love. Each and every person in your work environment, is part and parcel of Divine Source (whether we like it or not... LOL). So, it is just taking a moment to remember that. Send love.

I hope your recovery pace quickens and you completely heal from your accident. We send you long distance healing, support and love.

With love and crystal blessings,

Kristi
