In general, all stones work well together but it's always important to work with them intentionally. If you are working with more than one stone, make sure each has an intention or "job" to do so that their energy doesn't cancel each other out. For instance, Blue Lace Agate cools whereas Carnelian warms up and together with no intention, they can still work well together but if you add a human who is looking to shift things and attain better balance, they may not experience that because there was no intention.
