What Crystal Would You Recommend for a Strong Protective Stone?

I want a strong protective stone and was told that the black tourmaline was the way to go. Any other suggestions? Both to wear on my body and to display in my home? Also, I need to strengthen my immune system since I have health issues along those lines. I am also concerned about EMFs in my home, near my computer, TV, etc.....any suggestions? Thank you for your inquiry. These are the stones I suggest for protection:
 
Amethyst - spiritual protection
Labradorite - auric protection
Obsidian - energetic protection
 
At home, I like to keep Smokey Quartz (transmutes energy) in windows, Selenite (clears congestion) in corners of the room and Amethyst/Obsidian (protection) at doorways.
 
To strengthen the immune system, I am going to suggest Emerald, Green Tourmaline, and Clear Quartz.
