Vesuvianite was originally found on Mt. Vesuvius, the famous Italian volcano which erupted violently in 79 AD destroying the city of Vesuvius and burying all its inhabitants in ash. Vesuvianite is helpful at clearing negative and/or repetitive thought patterns, so it is a great to keep thoughts positive.
 Today, a friend presented a hand full of colored stones and asked me to pick one. I picked a green one and later found out that it is Vesuvianite. a few days prior to this, I had asked for help in releasing old thought patterns, which this stone does. Its even odder because i have been working on my temper and pent up anger and again this stone helps in that. It also is associated with the Heart Chakra and I am always espousing Love. | I was drawn to this crystal from the first moment I learned about it. I bought 1 piece and am using it for anger issues. I then bought 10 more on the 12Days..... Sale.
