Question:

"Does Lapis Lazuli help bone marrow issues specifically anemia not caused by a lack of iron? Husband has Multiple Myeloma or MDS."

Answer:

Hello,

Lapis Lazuli can be helpful for bone marrow issues, though it isn't indicated for anemia. However, it does have quite a few beneficial properties for the disorder mentioned.

Hematite and Bloodstone are both well known and often used for anemia.

Hematite has been indicated for iron deficiency, but like Lapis Lazuli, it has quite a few other properties that could still be helpful for your husband's needs. I am not certain if Bloodstone is helpful for anemia of other causes or if it pertains to only iron deficiency; Iron deficiency is not mentioned in any sources I've read, so I would think it beneficial to any type of anemia.

I did a search for Multiple Myeloma and I feel that the three crystals I'm suggesting could be helpful for the properties I'm listing below (physical followed by emotional).

Lapis Lazuli:

  • Blood disorders
  • Bone marrow
  • Cancer
  • Immune system strengthening
  • Insomnia/sleep
  • Pain
  • Anxiety/calming
  • Depression
  • Despair/hope
  • Frustration
  • Stress relief

Hematite:

  • Anemia
  • Blood disorders
  • Fractures
  • Health (in general)
  • Insomnia
  • Pain relief
  • Red blood cells (formation of)
  • Weakness/physical strength
  • Calming
  • Courage
  • Stress relief
  • Worry

Bloodstone:

  • Anemia
  • Blood disorders
  • Bone marrow
  • Cancer
  • Fatigue/increase energy
  • Immune system strengthening
  • Sleep (revitalizing)
  • Strength (physical)
  • Comforting
  • Courage
  • Fear

Best Wishes,
Katy Fae
