Can a Clear Quartz crystal help with all things? Is it like a general crystal for everything? I am looking for something to releive stress and give me peace of mind.

Thanks so much for your question about an "all-purpose" crystal. Clear Quartz is an excellent choice as is any crystal from the Quartz family.
Clear Quartz is very popular for bringing positive energy to any situation...I have them all over my home to keep the environment bright and happy no matter what is going on. Personally I like Amethyst (a purple Quartz) for stress relief and for any emotional issue. I find it's energy to be very soothing while it is also empowering so that you can feel in control at all times. The other most popular crystal is a Rose Quartz. It is traditionally used to balance emotions, attract love and to invigorate your self-esteem. It is also a very protective crystal that will deflect any negative energy that is thrown at you for outside sources. I would take a look at all three and see which one attracts you the most and work with that one first. If you are open to it the right crystal will always find it's way to you.
