The various methods for clearing include: smudging, singing bowl, water (best for tumbled crystals), prayer, breath, moonlight, sunlight (use with caution), salt, rice and more. You can read more in-depth about this here -> How to Clear Crystals
There are various methods for clearing crystals in general as you can see and there isn't really a more right or better one per stone. Pick a method that works for you and your crystal.
If you're already clearing your Rose Quartz with a method, use that same method and then see how the stone feels afterwards. Perhaps it would prefer another method and if you tap into that, the stone may share it with you :)
Again, go with a method that works for you and if you find it doesn't work for Rose Quartz, change it up!
