How do you determine what chakras need to be worked on? I am interested in knowing how to find out if they are in alignment, weakened or closed. In other words, how do you do a status check on the chakras?

I am going to suggest getting two different pendulums to help you learn how to work with your chakras. The first one is used to clean the chakras and the second one is used for yes and no questions. A status check can be done with a Clear Quartz pendulum or any other crystal pendulum of your choice. You place it over the chakra (approximately 6 inches above the chakra) and let it spin. If it spins counter clockwise or if it goes side to side, the pendulum is cleaning the chakra. If it goes clockwise or up and down it is putting energy into your energy center.
For the next method, I suggest getting a pendulum that can be used for yes and no questions. A Lapis Lazuli pendulum or an Amethystwould be ideal for this exercise. For this you will need to know how the pendulum responds to inquiries. I recommend reading the following article to learn how to use a pendulum for yes and no answers:

Once you have read the article sit down, breathe deeply and ask the pendulum, "Is my chakra open?" If it is not, ask the pendulum, “Can you clean my chakra?" if it says yes, ask the pendulum to clean the chakra by saying, “Please clean my chakra.” If it says no, ask the pendulum can you clean the chakra? If it says yes, use your chakra pendulum over your energy center so that it can remove any unwanted energy. If it says no, you can’t clean the chakra, as the pendulum, “Can I clean it another day?” The answer to this will probably be yes and just wait for another day, because the time is not right.
