Hello. I have a question regarding pendulums. I want to order one and I was instructed that the chain needs to be centered in order for it to work well. When I was looking through your items, I noticed one and saw that it mentions the chain may be off-center. Will this affect the accuracy of the pendulum?

Hi K,

Thank you for contacting us with your question about crystal pendulums. In my experience, you do want the chain centered for the pendulum to  be as accurate as possible. This is why the one that "may be off-center" is on clearance. My recommendation is to find one that does not have this disclaimer about being off-center, and try whichever one most captures your attention. I find that Clear Quartz is very easy to use when starting out, however, I have a good friend who refuses to use crystal pendulums because she always drops and breaks them! So, she has a metal one and loves how it works for her. You do not need to spend a lot to get a good pendulum, but if you will be using it as a pendulum and not just for decoration, you'll want to spend enough to get one that has a chain that is centered. Here is a link to all our pendulums if you would like to compare the designs and prices we offer. We have some for under $7 each.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. And of course, if you have any further questions regarding crystals or crystal healing, please feel free to contact us again.

Crystal Blessings!
