  Axinite was a fairly new idea for me. I might not have picked it out first just off hand, but the more I learned about it, and went looking at more on a search engine run, it spoke to me. It did not take but a split second in my hand when I realized this is the 'Black Madonna' vibration. I read some healingcrystals.com info, and decided in my shamanic working that it was right to be coupled with the Phenacite and the rest of the family of crystals in my care. I have long worked in the Black Madonna sacred mystery, and I would recommend having Axinite on hand to anyone also looking to make that connection who feels they haven't yet as much they would like to.
