Who we are / Our Story: Healing Crystals is owned and operated by Foundation for Balance and Harmony, a 501c(3) non-profit
corporation. Foundation for Balance and Harmony was created in April 2002 by Shawn
Adler, Daisy Shlakman, and Denis Lortie and our foundation is "Dedicated to Healing
the Planet, One Person at a Time". Here is a PICTURE of Denis,
Stacey and myself in Guatemala during my visit in April 2002. Healing Crystals was
created to support the Mission of our Foundation and to "Support the Education and
Use of Crystals to Support Healing".
Foundation Efforts - We have worked with teachers and students in Guatemala since
2003 using kinesiology to enhance the learning potential of the students. Since 2003
we have “balanced” over 3,500 students and trained over 250 teachers.
During the 2005-2006 school year alone we worked with almost 1,000 students in San Pedro,
La Laguna, Solola, Guatemala. In 2007 and 2008 we supported Denis Lortie to work in
more countries such as Bolivia and Brasil. In April 2009, we plan to open a DC Area
Center..
Handpicked - We have hand picked all of our inventory very carefully just for this
website.
Sorting and Pricing - We sort and price ALL of our crystals by hand and take into
account both size and quality when determining the price.
Sizing - We hand select each piece based upon both Size and Quality of the item.
Our Natural Crystals and Cut and Polished Items come in unique sizes that we sort
each time we purchase a batch of new crystals.
Ruler in the Picture - Many people ask why we use the other side of the ruler for
our pictures. When we first began taking pictures, our ruler said "made in
china" under the 1" mark and we didnt want that text in all of our pictures.
As time passed, we enjoyed having the numbers 11 and 12 in all of our
pictures as they are numbers with a positive and healing vibration.
Target Market - This site and our foundation are focused on anyone who wants to use
crystals to support their spiritual growth or to use in their healing work.
Suppliers - We are Blessed with the help and support of many good people and
companies that help supply our inventory at low prices. We regulary attend crystal
shows across the coutnry to buy crystals and to meet new suppliers. We have
also accumulated a wonderful host of suppliers around the globe in many different
couuntries.
High Quality Crystals and a Low Price - We try to provide the highest quality
crystals at the best prices to both retail and wholesale customers.
Wholesale Pricing - Many items have a wholesale discount or a quantity
discount option. These options reflect a discount to our customers who re-sell
crystals.
Crystal Clearings, Activation and Charging - We personally clear, activate and
charge All of the crystals that we send. It is our Intent to spread Love, Light and
Healing Crystals across the Planet.

Assortments and Packages - Most items on the site are contained in an assortment or
package deal. Most assortments are priced 20% to 60% less than purchasing each item

Recycled Packaging Materials - We do our part to reduce the volume in our local
landfills by reusing a wide variety of recycled packing materials that we receive.
Some of the shipping materials you receive may be recycled.
