It's funny in a good way that as a beginner I was attracted to those crystals and are in my collection. I didn't know they are good crystals to have for beginners and I was automatically drawn to them. Thank you so much for the great information. I was drawn to what I was told later to be Opalite. I saw it an Love it. I didn't buy it the same day instead I bought a Blue Sand Stone with the Chakra stones attached to front beautiful stone. But I couldn't stop thinking of the Opalite so two days later I went back to get it. By the way both are pendulum. I later found out that Opalite is not a gem stone and it's man made. Yet some people say it has healing affects an others say it does not. I love the beautiful color how it changes from light blue almost clear to a sky blue when wearing a dark shirt not to mention the glow it has like a light inside. I would like your thought about Opalite.

Just from reading this article I now understand why I have been attracted to all of the above. As a child I had a crystal collection. My mother threw it away. I was able to save only my rose quartz, which I carried in my pocket. It may sound silly but I would talk to it when I was extremely sad and hold it in both my hands. The sadness would pass and I felt better.

Sorry for rambling but I am now excited because just by reading this article I remembered memories and knowledge that was lost.

I agree about people who are new to picking out there first crystals..always go with your intuition or if you feel you love or need that crystal just get it and then research after bringing it home. I was the same way quite a few years ago when I received my first crystals. It can be very overwhelming seeing sooo many crystals online too. I love the crystal videos on youtube showing hauls. But that was another way for me to see if I feel a connection with certain crystals in the hauls. You don't have to learn all there meanings and uses in 1 day. Relax. and have fun with learning about them. I have now 4 big bins of all kinds of crystals and I still haven't researched them all yet :). Since I started this Holistic journey and started learning about the crystals, I have been drawn to the clear quartz. Even though I prefer the colors of any one of the other crystals I keep coming back to the clear quartz. Now I know that it's because this is where I need to begin. I am so excited that I found this website because I am a true believer of Crystal healing. I remember their was a point in live when I felt so drained and empty I didnt understand the feeling and that was my first time experiencing this feeling.Well long story short, I went to a healer to tell her how I was feeling then she gave me a clear Crystal and told me to always keep it on the right side of my body so I listened .
