I love all the information you give. It's so very informative to me , as I am just starting to enjoy and learn about crystals and all they do . I always have crystals in my pockets especially when I go to work, as the atmosphere is not very good on most days.

So I went to Hot Springs, Arkansas this past weekend for my birthday. Then I went to Wegner's in Mt. Ida. I came home with a bag of crystals that I dug...including one nice pointed one on one end, but it wasnt clear. What is the info about "milk" crystals. All of mine are opaque, two of them looked like they had bleu cheese veins in them, what are those?

Wondering if I came home with junk, none are clear. Some have a glassy surface though.

I also got some natural citrine at Wegner's...clear with pale gold on them!

I also got a pendant as a present, which has rainbows all refracting off each of the 3 crystals... is it that from 'treating' it with something?

And any particular color of celestine more valuable? It seems to be a kind of williamsburg blue.

Fantastic info here. Rather new to the Path and this is just what I love to stumble upon! Also I find thata your descriptions match those of metaphysical expertise as to how these different crystals are supposed to look BEFORE you buy. Course with crystals its hard not to buy all those that you fall in love with! :) They all have wonderful knowledge to share and happily do so. I have found that people use crystals that ring with them, in other words if an abundance crystal lightens or greatly helps their depression - thats what they use! If grounding crystals bring them prosperity...thats what they use. Versatility shows jsut how much crystals want to help our growth - ANY beings growth imo.So many ways to look at these friendly beings....I know you all remind us of the uniquesness we each have and to use what we feel works best... jolly well true! :) thanks for the well researched articles!
