Thank you for your question about the differences between Rhodonite and Rhodochrosite.
Rhodonite is a pink/red color with veins, or "roads", or black Manganese Oxide. Rhodochrosite is typically more pink than red with white swirls of Manganese Carbonate.
Both work with the Heart Chakra and are also excellent at clearing the Root Chakra. The both promote self love, love of others and the attraction of love into your life. I find Rhodochrosite has the gentler, more happy go lucky energy of the two. It is a wonderful crystal for children (and the inner child). It is great for healing the past and reclaiming lost gifts... particularly have you have forgiven yourself and others. Rhodonite is more earthy and will help you with bringing more passion and vitality into your life. It can help you to see where and how you can improve your life without harsh judgment or self defeating attitudes. That is why Rhodonite is helpful to improve your financial situation.
