The colorful photos provided are of crystals from the author’s personal collection and are a good representation of stones that may be available at your local store or at HealingCrystals.com. Because they are not pictures of museum quality specimens, like many other books, children will easily be able to compare the photos to their own stones as they begin their collection.
Although this book only contains a limited number of crystals, it presents the ideal amount of information to be absorbed by the young mind without overwhelming them. Each crystal also has a blank page provided for taking notes and for the child to record their thoughts. Stephanie Tingle has done wonderfully at presenting her extensive crystal knowledge in a way to reach even the youngest audiences. This book is an integral part of any parent’s reference collection for working with crystals and children.
