Question:
"My now ex boyfriend gave me a rose quartz crystal necklace. When I put it on it felt fine but as soon as we started arguing it started to burn my skin so bad that I had to place it on the outside of my shirt and it even burned my fingers. When I got home after arguing with him it didn’t burn anymore. Have you ever heard of this happening with anyone else?"
Answer:
Hi there R,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Our experiences with crystals can definitely vary from person to person.
The temperature of the crystal may be a reflection of what is going on with the negative energy blockages. The crystal can get very warm, even hot, when a negative energy has been overcome and you are charging the cells.
Your crystal may have doing what it was programmed to do and putting a lot of effort into it (like a protective crystal is actively absorbing or reflecting harmful energies or a healing crystal is making a push for healing), or it is working with/against your energy and reacting to you.
Generally though, heat happens when we're working really strongly together with our crystal, there's a lot of energy flow and we can feel that in our crystal. Combining the energies, ours, the crystals and the universe, can be powerful energy. That combination can be extremely powerful. Same would be when the crystal gets super cold. You may just be feeling the crystal energy.
If it happens again, I would suggest journaling about the circumstances when it happens and then start to see if you can notice any particular situations or patterns for when you experience this.
Hope this helps!
