First of all, I absolutely love your site and all your beautiful crystals. I have bought quite a few and can't seem to stop, lol I was curious as to why I keep reading that Amethyst is a crystal to help facilitate restful sleep, but every time I try sleeping with it, I toss and turn and wake up about every hour or two. I just tried putting my chakra crystals beneath my mattress and again I couldn't sleep through the night. Do you have any recommendations on alternate crystals i could try using to sleep through the night. I have Hematite, Black Jasper, Black Obsidian, Garnet and Rose Quartz under my pillow now and still can't seem to sleep through the night. Any suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
Thanks for reaching out to us and for your continued support of Healing Crystals. I’m sorry you have been trouble sleeping at night. Just because a crystal is recommended for something doesn’t necessarily mean that it will resonate well with you. You may need to try a different crystal or combination of crystals to find what works best for you. Also, please remember to clear the energy of the crystals often. A crystal that has absorbed too much energy can have the opposite affect of what you would like.
I noticed that in addition to the Amethyst you also have 5 other crystals in your bed. Some crystals can have an energizing affect on you, like Garnet, and are best not kept in the bedroom at night for some people. Also, sometimes the energy from too many crystals in the bedroom can have this affect. Try removing all crystals from your bedroom, and trying one at a time. Start with the Amethyst by itself and see if this helps more. You should also make sure to clear the energy of all the crystals. If the Amethyst doesn’t work this way, some crystals I suggest you try next (by themselves) are Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz, Angelite, Celestite or Selenite. After you know which crystals are actually helping you sleep and which are keeping you up, you can combine them, if you like. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope your journey is blessed with Love and Light.

|I find this so interesting bc I have trouble sleeping for years and never heard of this. I have been on every medicine there is with disappointment after disappointment. It great to know I am looking in the right direction bc I hate taking pills. They make me feel like not me. The natural way is to go. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this article (Submitted by: Roseanna on November 04, 2017)|
| Great article, relevant and to the point! Thank You Stephanie!|

I responded to this earlier...But I had to come back and revise my earlier statement. Last night, I had the best sleep ever. I don't know what happened; I did not remove any of the stones (I decided to give it one more try before I did what Stephanie A, suggested). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (I am a newbie...after all), but I think I just needed to adjust to the energy of the stones. So if anyone is having the same issue as me...Hang in there, you may need to adjust to the energy of the stones, like I did :-) (Submitted by: zoe on May 20, 2016)
