Thank you for all of your questions. I am going to answer them all in this email but first I want to suggest a few videos for you on our You Tube channel. They have a lot of introductory information about crystals and I think that you will find them very helpful. Here are the links:

I think that these will give you some tips about using the crystals. Really you don't need to do anything...just having crystals around will have a positive effect on your energy and the energy of your home or wherever you have the crystals. We offer them in different shapes and styles so that people have a variety of ways to keep crystals around them. You mentioned the RhodoniteBottle and you can leave the crystals in the bottle and wear it (it has a clasp at the top) or just place it in an area where you would like more positive energy. I keep a bottle hanging on a hook by my front door. You can also take the crystal chips out and use them in grids.
A bracelet, necklace or keychain will all have the same energy...it is simply your preference as to what works best for you. I like to keep a lot of crystals with me so I wear the bracelets everyday. I find them easy to wear and a great way to keep the energy with me constantly. I also use the necklaces and key chains. The energy of the crystal is the same whether it is jewelry, a keychain or a tumbled stone. It may just be easier to wear a bracelet than to carry a bunch of crystals with you.
You want to clear the crystals of any past energy so that they are not holding on to any past energy that will not help you. You can charge the crystals with your intentions...for instance you might want Smokey Quartz to protect you while you travel. The videos will help explain different ways to clear and charge your crystals.
A crystals energy does last forever however you may feel it differently. Sometimes you really need the energy of a particular crystal and then you will feel it more. When you no longer need it as much you might not feel the energy or you might find yourself drawn to another crystal. Crystals are a source of energy and energy never dies! It can weaken and get stronger (that is why you want to clear and charge them) but it is always there.
