Generally your receiving hand is your non-dominant hand and your sending is your dominant hand.
In my opinion, it doesn't really matter which hand you hold your stone in or wear your crystal jewelry because it's more about what works for you and your intention behind what you want to do with your stones. Wearing or holding a stone based on your sending/receiving hands can add to your intention but it's not the most important aspect of working with stones.
Some people find abundant opportunities by wearing pendants, meditating with stones, donating money, keeping crystals in their wallet. Do what feels good to you and if you're not getting any results, take a look at your intention and experimenting with another hand or way of wearing your stones.
