I have read the articles about recommended crystals for autism and hyperactivity. I need to know what you recommend for a 7 year-old child. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for contacting Healing Crystals with your crystal questions. In my experience, many children with autism respond well to the energies of crystals. Finding the “right” crystals for her is something I would recommend you let her help with, as children with autism can be extremely energy sensitive, and also tend to know what they are and are not attracted to. If you have the crystals you mentioned, you could let her hold them and see how she responds. A rock or crystal shop might be overwhelming for her, but another way to let her help choose her crystals is to show her pictures of several and ask her which ones feel good to her when she looks at them.
As for one crystal I would recommend, Sugilite is a very good crystal for brain healing at a high level, and is one of the most recommended crystals for those with autism. Also, as some recent studies suggest that people with autism often have digestive/intestinal issues, I would recommend Carnelian to help balance and strengthen these functions as well. Additionally, Carneliancan help balance the angry and frustrated outbursts many children with autism go through as they learn to communicate their needs with those around them
