Hi Stephanie. When you say clear your crystals, what do you mean by that? Thank you for all your help, you are wonderful!

Clearing crystals refers to clearing the crystals of any energy they may have picked up. Sometimes this is also referred to as “cleaning” them energetically. Over time, all crystals pick up negative energy from the people and environment around them and will become less effective the more energy they take on. Too much negative energy in a crystal can also cause them to break or crack after a while. Clearing the crystal removes any negative energy from it and restores its own energy.
Because black crystals are especially good at removing negativity, they collect it faster and therefore need to be cleared more frequently, which is why I recommended you do this daily for Black Tourmaline. I like to clear them in the morning each day to keep them working at their best.
There are several different ways that crystals can be cleared. I like to use smudging with Sage or sound because this can be used on all crystals, even softer ones and those that can fade in the sunlight. This article lists some other ways you can do this.
