Question:

"What's the difference between natural Citrine and regular Citrine?"

Answer:

Good Morning E,

Generally, most Citrine is heat treated or lab enhanced in some way. The majority of Citrine on the market is enhanced using this heat treating method. Most would refer to this as "regular". You'll notice it has a bright yellow/orange color and sometimes they are even brown. Commonly on natural pieces such as points or druzy clusters, you'll also find them having white quartz bases. Here is an example of heat treated Citrine.

Citrine that is natural means that it has not been enhanced in any way. It comes out of the mines that way. Most natural Citrine is very pale or smoky to pale golden in color, sometimes it can even look like light Smokey Quartz. This is what I refer to as "natural". You can see an example of Natural Citrine Chunks:

I hope this has been helpful!

With love and crystal blessings,
Kristi
