Chalcopyrite Cabochon

Question:

"I’ve been holding my Clear and Rose Quartz on me everywhere I go and sleeping with them in my hands for around a month now (I set intentions in them) and this morning I woke up and my Clear Quartz is nowhere to be seen. I’m a bit sad because I was really connected to the crystal but I’ve heard that crystals going missing can mean they served their purpose?"

Answer:

Hi there ED,

Thanks for your crystal question!

We frequently receive questions from customers who have lost a crystal and want to know if there is a deeper meaning behind this occurrence. While sometimes a lost crystal is simply a lost crystal, there are other reasons that stones can go missing.

A crystal that comes up missing could be that it is needed elsewhere and may turn up again, it could be that from using a stone continually without a break would cause the crystal to leave in order to take that break which you both need. Some even believe that mischievous beings move them around for fun.

Here's an interesting article which you may enjoy: What to do when Crystals go Missing and includes tips on how to use Chalcopyrite to assist with finding a lost crystal.

It can be disappointing to lose a crystal, but just remember that it may be taking much needed time to recuperate or it has found a new home where it is needed!

Hope you find this helpful :)
