Here is a Question from One of Our Customers:

I was wondering,  what is the best way to utilize my double terminated clear quartz crystal?

Answer:

Hi S,
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

I recently had a similar question. The wider end of the crystal is called the female end and the smaller end of the crystal is called the male end. The crystal is held with the wider or female end in the palm of your hand with the male point facing in the direction you want the energy to go. You send the energy into the female end and out the male end. The cut of the crystal allows for a concentrated beam of energy much like a laser to be emitted from the smaller or male end of the crystal.
These types of crystals when used by a trained and knowledgeable healer can be used to do healing and psychic surgery. By reversing the crystal you can draw away negative energy and by placing the crystal between two chakras with the point facing down you can balance the chakras by grounding the energy or point the crystal up to balance and send the energy up through the top of the head to clear any energy blocks. These crystals are a very useful tool for both healing and meditation. Don't be afraid to experiment with the crystal and learn all its many uses, you will find they are a great meditation tool and will help you reach a deep state of mind.
