"Hi, I saw that you have the Amethyst crystal primary chakra as the 3rd Eye. I thought the primary was the Crown chakra. Could you please clarify this for me? Thank you."

Amethyst can be used for both the Third Eye or Crown Chakra. It is versatile like that and it just depends what you want to use it for - that is what would determine what it's primary Chakra is for you.
Sometimes the confusion comes in depending on what "Chakra model" you use. Some follow the rainbow rule: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet; therefore using purple stones and Amethyst at the Crown Chakra. Others follow the black, orange, yellow, pink, light blue, violet and clear/white; therefore using purple crystals at the Third Eye Chakra with white or clear crystals at the Crown Chakra.
There's no right or wrong really, especially since you can even use Amethyst to balance the Solar Plexus Chakra if it's overactive as well and yellow crystals are more generally used for that Chakra.
Amethyst is a really great stone to enhance your Third Eye Chakra and can be used for astral travel as well as dream work. It can help to develop your intuition and psychic abilities.
When it comes to the Crown Charka, Amethyst opens and activates that Chakra, allowing easier access to the divine. It can also enhance spiritual awareness and spiritual wisdom, promoting a higher state of consciousness.
