Question:
"How would one handle a crystal ball that was left by a deceased friend? Is there a respectful and right way to give it to another? Should it be cleansed first?"
Answer:
Hi there Catherine,
Thanks for reaching out to us and what a great question!
When we work with crystals or keep them in our space, we often tend to energetically exchange with our crystal so it's always a good idea to clear the crystal ball of any energetic debris. It isn't to say that the energetic debris will be negative, but you'd want to keep or gift a crystal that has kind of been "reset" and not "attached" to anyone who has previously owned it.
You can read more about the various ways to do this here: How to Clear Crystals
After cleansing, I would sit with the ball and just ask that the ball be blessed with love, light and all that is for the highest good of all beings. From there I would just see if anyone comes to mind that you could give the sphere to or if you'd like to keep it.
I hope this helps a bit, but if you are unsure of anything, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
