Thanks for reaching out to us and what a great question!!
I would recommend Rose Quartz which you can keep in their bed or place a piece in their water. Just make sure that the piece is clean and that it isn't big enough so that they cannot swallow it. Rose Quartz encourages calming and loving vibes. It is also very comforting for animals.
Blue Lace Agate, Moss Agate or Aquamarine also help to reduce stress and worry. You can keep a piece in their bed or anywhere they spend a lot of time.
What's also important to remember is that it will take time for the kitty to get used to you not leaving him/her. He/she could have easily been abandoned and ended up in this horrible situation before your amazing soul came along, so the best thing I would recommend is love, patience and time with him/her.
Your kitty will eventually get used to you and the fact that you're here to stay with them.
