Crystal Grid for Vitality

Question:

"Our 8-year-old dog has stiff and tight bones and joint he can't bend his legs and feet well. He is always stiff legged. We are starting to do rehab therapy for him. He also has arthritis. What Crystal would benefit for these issues?"

Answer:

Hi R,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I am so sorry to hear about your furbaby! I am sending him some energy massages for his legs and feet.

As always, please remember that crystals are meant to complement other forms of therapy and not substitute medical/veterinary advice and/or practices.

If you find that he is sleeping or lying down a lot Rhonda, what you can do is place Carnelian in OR around his bed. Often with senior dogs, they are stiff because they sleep a lot and their muscles need a little more warming up than their younger versions. Carnelian can help with that. You could even give him light massages with it if he will allow you.

For arthritis, you can take a look at the following crystals:
Blue Calcite or Blue Lace Agate with can help to reduce inflammation
Rhodochrosite can assist with general joint health.
Malachite and Copper can help to relieve pain if they have any, whereas Black Tourmaline can help relieve pain but works to get energy out of their field in order to relieve that pain.

Please make sure that the stones you purchase for him are big enough that he won't swallow it. You can keep them in or around his bed as mentioned above. If you put them in his bed, what I do is I put the little pouch UNDER my dog's pillow where she can't actually reach them at all.

For pets, I also always recommend tumbled or polished crystals especially if you add them to their bed or massage them with it. I just find that tumbled stones' gentle energy works a little better with animals BUT that is not to say natural won't. If you find yourself more attracted to natural stones for your dog while you are choosing stones for him, please go with that!

I hope this helps a bit :)
