There are a range of crystals that you can use for communicating with your spirit guides, but here are my favourites that I enjoy working with:
Any of these crystals you could use for connecting and communicating with your spirit guides. Neither are better or more right than the next one, but because you are looking for one for the clearest communication, I would say hold that intention in your mind (crystals for clear communication with my guides) and then choose a crystal based on what you are attracted to.
I also want to add that you don't have to be scared to ask your guides for clear signs that you will understand and then be open to the signs around you. Often times we don't ask and we aren't really open because we expect the signs to come in a certain way.
