Question:
"I have learned a lot watching your videos and reading articles on your Blog. I especially Love the fact that you give combinations of crystals for specific afflictions and helpful tips to implement crystals into our daily life!
I am hoping you can help assist me with a combination of crystals for chronic pain (lower back pain, from an injury that was the result of a tractor trailer traveling 55mph rear-ending my car at stop light, 6 titanium rods installed in lower spine after surgery, 15 years since accident) . I usually experience fatigue/tiredness/lack of energy throughout the day dealing with the pain and inflammation. What Crystal combination can I use to help with tiredness/fatigue while helping with inflammation and pain? I appreciate any advice you can assist me with on my healing journey! Thank You In Advance,"
Answer:
Hi,
Thank you so much for contacting healing crystals! I'm so happy you are connecting + learning with our content.
For wide spread chronic pain, black tourmaline is highly recommended. This crystal can also transmute negative energy into positive energy. I also love amethyst for chronic pain because its incredibly soothing, calming and nourishes our soul by helping us relax and let go of things that don't serve us such as pain. Lapis lazuli is also recommend for widespread pain. Blue lace agate is particularly good for inflammation.
Carnelian + sunstone can be used to energize you to combat chronic fatigue.
As you suffer from several symptoms, I recommend taking a look at our common conditions crystal page when you need guidance. This is an easy to use guide that can refer you to crystals for your challenges! Clear quartz is also great for wide spread symptoms because it is the master healer!
When working with any crystal it is important to set a clear and strong intention for the healing so that you can direct the crystal's energy. An affirmation can aid your intention. For example, "I seek and speak the truth with perfect love and perfect trust." You can wear any of these crystals separately or together. A fun way to get to know your crystals is by bringing one into your energy field at a time (a couple days), then introducing another. Noting any shift in your life while doing so! You can wear the crystals, put your pocket, keep by your bed or in your house, or even tape to your areas of pain.
If you plan to use your crystals daily, I recommend cleanings them about once a week! View this article for ways to cleanse your crystals.

![]() As for the pain, yes, absolutely, Lapis Lazuli and Black Tourmaline are wonderful for chronic pain. I use them myself. Amethyst can help too, especially if you suffer from headaches. Also consider Sapphire (cellular regeneration); Emerald and Aquamarine (both of which are excellent against inflammation, and if - as I suspect you do - you suffer from pain caused by nerve damage, Aquamarine is fantastic against that too); I personally use Peridot, Morganite and Zircon against DMARD-induced nightmares, plus blue-green (Paraibe) Apatite against a certain amount of co-morbid Osteoarthritis, and Alexandrite (another rather rare but very special gem) to help stop me from stressing out. Finally, topping it all off, Rose Quartz (for all manner of reasons) and Heliodor (for the pain and stiffness in my fingers first thing in the morning. No joke: Heliodor gives out a *very* warm energy. I can't hold my Heliodor tumblestone in my receiving hand for very long because the heat it radiates makes my palm itch).
