Crystals should not be used as a replacement for medical care, but rather used as a complimentary therapy along with the treatment prescribed by your licensed medical professional.
Two crystals I like for aiding in communication with animals are Apatite and Dalmation Jasper. Hold the crystal in your hand and calmly set the intention to communicate with the animal. Also remember that animals tend to think in pictures, not words, so you will want to send your thoughts as images, rather than words, and will likely receive the information that way as well, unless your brain automatically translates the pictures into words for you—as happens with some people.
For working with children, Rose Quartz is a wonderfully gentle, yet powerful crystal, and is helpful for a variety of issues, including cancer. Amethyst might also be helpful. When using crystals to support cancer treatment, it is especially important to cleanse the crystals or “clear” them regularly as they will absorb a lot of dense energy in the healing process.
