We all have our own perspective so some may feel that a cloth or cloth bag lessens the energy whereas others wouldn't feel the same way. We all experience energy in different ways.
I always suggest to experiment and see which feels better to you.
I choose little bags that work for me but the type of fabric or opacity doesn't really matter to me. It doesn't diminish the power of the crystals or intention unless you believe it so.
In terms of colour: all colours have different properties associated with them.
I feel that you can use colour to your advantage and for your benefit IF you wanted to.
I wouldn't say that colour would diminish or lessen the crystal vibration but I would say that it can enhance the vibration.
For example:
If you wanted to draw in more abundance and prosperity, you could use a citrine crystal with a yellow/gold pouch along with the intention of being more abundant and making space to be more abundant. Then you take it further and actually spend time with the mojo bag, doing the work of clearing and visualising. That is quite powerful stuff right there in my opinion.
