About Malachite, you have written that "Malachite amplifies energies of all kinds, both positive and negative". Does this mean that you shouldn't use Malachite if you are facing negative energy, like when you're angry, sad, depressed etc.? It would amplify those energies then, right? Please let me know. I purchased a tumbled Malachite from Healing Crystals today and I didn't know about it's amplification property. I want to use it as protective talisman during travels. Please let me know if it works for that purpose. Thanks.

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, Malachite can amplify both negative and positive energy. For that reason, I have known some people to have an adverse reaction to working with Malachite. It can clear any negative energy you may be feeling, which while unpleasant at the time could be a good thing in the long run. It is a great choice for protection during your travels, as is Jet.  I used the stone yesterday for the 1st time for 2 reasons. 1st because it's a stone of transformation. I figured it can help transform all the negativity that happened to me in 2017 and start a new beginning in 2018. 2nd reason I had to deal with some worrisome issues at work. This stone overpowered me with negativity. I felt it physically on me. Reflecting on this today I'm not taking my reaction badly because I feel like the stone was drawing out the negativity in my life and I fell like I handled some issues constructively and positively.
