"I was just talking to my wife about adding some of my crystals to my new fish tank I'm in the process of aquascaping with bamboo, pothos, and low growth ground cover grass. (Bamboo Rain Forest Theme with Asian Ruins) I told her I wanted to add some to the tank before I get some fish in a couple of months. I was concerned about the effects the crystals would have. Reading the comments of your article, helped me confirm that I may be on to something.
I'm also thinking of designing a couple of pyramids to put over the tanks. What I'm wondering is should I, and if so, how long should I leave the pyramids over the tank. I'm impregnating the copper pipes with crystals as well. I'm scaling down a healing power pyramid to hang over the tank. Would love your input on the ideology. Lastly, I'm glad I ran into this discussion. Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks like I do."

Hello!
Thanks for reaching out to Healing Crystals! I do not have personal experience with adding crystals to a fish tank, but I think it's a great idea. I would stick with quartz varieties as they tend to hold up better in water than other crystals and of course, be sure they are large enough that the fish won't swallow them. I would be careful to wash them and cleanse them in full sunlight before adding them to the tank to be sure they won't contaminate the tank, but other than that, I can think of no harmful effects from an energetic perspective. I like to use quartz in my potted plants to help them thrive, so theoretically, the quartz may be beneficial for the fish in that way.
As far as how long to leave a pyramid over the tank, this may be a matter of trial and error. I would monitor the fish and the water quality and base this off your findings.
