Question:

"I've been divorced (after 18 years) for 10 months from a verbally/emotionally abusive man. I believe I have grown enormously, throughout this enlightning period in my life, spiritually and emotionally, and yet there's a part of me that still feels "stuck", unsure, insecure, even defeated at times. Usually if I feel particularly "down on myself" it's in the mornings. Later in the afternoon I'm feeling o.k. and even "good". Is this a blockage? I need to find my "path", my direction in life. Can a crystal help with this?

Answer:

Hi S,

Thanks for visiting Healing Crystals and inquiring about crystal healing for your issue.

After years of emotional/verbal abuse, your energy body is recalibrating. Think of how much you were "guarding" yourself during the 18 years of the relationship! Congratulations on seeing the dysfunction and taking action! It takes a lot of courage to change. In light of the change, it also brings "root" issues to the surface that need to be addressed. These issues are a part of your journey and led you to be in that relationship until you were ready to move on to a deeper level of healing. You are now there. The first thing I'd recommend is exercising compassion to yourself right where you are. Allow yourself to feel the stuck, unsure, insecure, defeated emotions and know that they're temporary. The more that you "sit" with the emotion, the more you will clear. More than likely, the emotions are from the past and by being with them, (and know that your emotions are not "you") you're allowing them to clear. (The fact that you feel more in the morning is an indicator that they "pass" throughout the day).

To help facilitate healing from abuse, I'd recommend the following:

Carnelian - grounds you in the present and restores vitality, motivation and stimulates creativity. It's useful for overcoming abuse.

Rainbow Aura - brings in vibrant energy and zest for life. It helps release negative emotions and old grief from the past.

Rhodonite - Balances the emotins and nutures love. It stimulates, clears, and activates the heart and heart chakra. It heals emotional shock, emotional self-destruction, codependency and abuse. Clears away emotional wounds.

Much love and light to you as you heal!

My boyfriend went to jail 5 months into our relationship. They started at 12 years and dropped it to non violent and got 3 1/2-7 does good comes home in 3 1/2. I did the whole 3 years and a couple month and right before he suppose to be coming home I left him. I left him because I wasn’t working when he left and i started reselling things even my own to keep on the phone and be able to give him commissary but he also was trying to help to keep the phone on as well which wasn’t a good idea.
Anyways a year and a half in I got truly depressed. Living home . Not wanting to leave my room cause my father verbally abusing me. Especially because I was dating someone that had another race in him and my boyfriend didn’t really ask me for anything until the end and I felt like he was always manipulating me wanted to be on the phone all the time when my depression everything was so bad.

I am currently living home still. Still get verbally abused by my dad. Cannot move out until may and really need to find a job .

Do you have any advice what I should do or what crystals will help me emotionally heal and be able to not get all upset when my dad talks shit to me because he told my mom he cannot control it

Please I need some good advice????  (Submitted by: Jaim on February 24, 2023)
