Q: My sister is seeing a healer and she has been told that she has to be grounded in water and needs to avoid stones that are dark in color. What crystals would represent or be used to help her be grounded into water? They suggested rainbow flourite for her but are there any others that might be useful?

Dear S,
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.
There are not very many stones that are both water stones and grounding. Moonstone is the only one that I can think of off the top of my head. It's known more for its use as a womens stone and a spiritual stone, Moonstone is an elemental stone, attuned to water and the cycles of the Moon. It is also a grounding stones, balancing the energy between our connection to earth and water.
