Here is a Question from One of Our Customers:

Q:  I am looking for a few gemstones that could be put into a cat's water bowl to help with behavior problems. The stones should be large enough not to be swallowed. I am looking for stones that would help to change bad habits and promote relaxation. Black Onyx, Jade and Turquoise have been suggested but I would appreciate any recommendations that you might have.

Answer:

Dear P,
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

Chiastolite assist in changing old patterns and opens one to new ideas. It is safe to put in water and has no toxic after effects. Amber and Danburite both bring peace, calm. These crystals are all safe to make gem elixirs that can be used in you cats water dish. I would not leave them in the dish as the energy can be too strong . I am giving you this link to an article on toxic crystals and gem elixirs. Both your Jade and turquoise are toxic and can not be used in water. https://www.healingcrystals.com/Crystal_Cautions_Articles_1009.html

Here is an article on making Gem Elixirs. I think this is a much better way for you to go. Our pets can be effected by the same toxins that effect us and it is better to lean toward the side of caution when it comes to their health. https://www.healingcrystals.com/How_to_Energize_Water_with_Crystals_Articles_870.html
Gem Elixirs can be an important healing tool when used in the proper manner. Experiment with them. I am sure you will find the right combination that works for you precious cat.
