My mother has an eye condition called urivitis where the muscles at back of eye are inflamed. She is on large doses of medication to keep the pressure behind her eye down and also on steorids. Could you reccomend a crystal that will improve her sight, strengthen muscles and keep pressure down in her eye( if pressure goes up it pushes on optic nerve which could result in loss of vision). She has had this condition for 7 years now and numerous surgeries.  Thank you so much and have just recently found your website as was lookign for information on water cleansing.

Dear H,

I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice.  Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

Not knowing if this is autoimmune related, I am loath to recommend any immune booster.  What I  do suggest is Chrysoprase which is specific for  eye inflammation.  Sapphire will fight the inflammation and Jade will strengthen the eyes to prevent further damage.   As this has been an ongoing inflammation, there are sure to be complications involved.  Green Tourmaline is a general over all healer and can give the body, itself, strength to help fight off the infection. While it seems unusual, many of the third eye stones, such as theBlue Sapphire, will also strengthen the physical eyes, as they are connect to the same area of the brain and strengthening one will strengthen the others.
