I have a slate and copper wall fountain in my acupuncture/Chinese medicine office. I have a few pieces of Chalcopyrite in it along with river stones. What crystals can I use in the fountain to help accentuate healing, self-protection from negativity and higher consciousness that will also be OK with water running over them? Thank you.

Hi S:

Thanks so much for your question about crystals that can use in your water fountain to promote healing and higher consciousness while eliminating any negativity.

You want to avoid any "soft" stones like Opal, Seleniteor Chalcopyrite since the water will damage them overtime.  I would stick to any kind of Quartz, Jasper and/or Agate.  All of them are hardy enough to endure the water without damaging the crystal.  Black Agateis one of my favorites for eliminating negativity.  Clear Quartz will raise the level of energy and Amethysthas  extraordinary healing powers.  Some of the colored Quartz like Amethystand Rose Quartz(throw that in for Love!) may fade from the water but the energy will still be strong.  You just might want to look for lighter colored ones.

Thank you so much for your question and for your support of Healing Crystals.com.  I hope that this information is helpful and I wish you the best of luck with your acupuncture practice. Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I will look forward to hearing from you again soon!

Wishing you lots of Love and Light!

Crystal Blessings!
