Here is a Question from One of Our Customers:

Q:  Can you please tell me what is the BEST crystal from the list on your website, to alleviate headaches? And should they be points, wands, tumbled...or it doesn't matter? I was thinking of ordering several amethyst points as well as tumbled Sugilite but any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Answer:

Dear C,
Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.
Each of these stones help both headaches and migrains. It really does not matter if it is tumbled or points, its your personal preference.
Amber-to relieve headaches, I like Amber, it is so versitile, wonderful energy, and feels good in the hand.

Amethyst-to relieve headaches

Blue Lace Agate, this stone takes the heat out of the headache. It calms the nerves that can cause the pain.

Sugilite-excellent reliever of pain, this is the best for specific pain relief. I like the lighter violet color over the darker color. It is cool and soothing.

Placed on the forehead these crystals will assist in removing the pain and ache. Placed on the temples, hold with a band to keep in place. A plus is that each of these crystals look so nice, just looking and holding them is soothing.

This is the best article about the energy of semi-precious gemstones I've read. I am working with self-esteem issues right now, and I can see how important it is to root out negative thought patterns. However, they can pop right back up again, so being aware of that and having as many tools for a support system as possible available is probably a good plan for long-term success. Thanks for being a very positive source in the web community.  (Submitted by: Kimberly on August 06, 2011)
