Question: What crystal can help a child with focus and concentration?

Answer:

Hi,

Thank you so much for your email. I have a few recommendations for you.

Fluorite
is great for focus and mental clarity. Clear quartz, known as the master healer, is also a great crystal for concentration and focus.

Amethyst
is good for clarity as well as anxiety. Sometimes a lack of focus is a result of anxious feelings, and if that is the case, then amethyst might be a good option for him!

Sodalite
is a blue stone that correlates with the throat chakra. It is also used for concentration, communication and trust. I believe this would be a good stone to use to improve vocabulary, communication and concentration.

When working with any crystal, its important that you hold a strong and clear intention in your mind. For example, the child can hold the crystal(s) and think about how he wants to improve his focus and vocabulary. As well, an affirmation is useful for crystal work. For example, when he holds the crystal(s) or even thinks about them, he can repeat the affirmation in his mind or out loud. For example: “I communicate with perfect love and perfect trust. My mind is strong and focuses deeply on the task at hand.” He can make the affirmation completely unique to him.

I recommend that he spends quality time with the crystals. He can do so by carrying them in his pockets, wearing them as jewelry, sleeping with them and/or placing them around the house.

I hope this helps!

Don't forget to cleanse and clear your crystals!
