Hi. I am a beginner in using crystals and haven't used yet the many different types of rocks in my life. I've been fascinated not only on their eye catching colors, but also for their "something" in it, maybe I could felt the energy emanating from them since I was a kid. I have some question here.
What's can you say about Kyanite? Is there really a huge difference in energy signatures from a Blue Kyanite compared to Black Kyanite? Are Kyanite the best crystal for chakra healing? How do we know if our chakras is not in correct alignment and needs healing of this stone? Do we need to get all of the different type of Kyanite to have a more "complete" chakra healing? There is Blue, Black, Green and Orange Kyanite.
Any advice and suggestions greatly appreciated. Tnx!
Thank you for your inquiry. I love Blue Kyanite. Indeed, it is great for clearing and aligning the chakras, as is Selenite. However, many crystals help to clear and align the chakras. Here is some additional information on crystals and chakras:
I also find Blue Kyanite helpful for inducing lucid dreams and assisting with dream recall. While both Blue and Black Kyanite direct energy in a similar fashion, they do have some different respective properties. Black Kyanite (which you can find in tumbled form as well) tends to be more grounding than the others, and different colors correspond with different chakra qualities. Here are our articles on the different colors of Kyanite for more information in regards to some of your questions:
Please Note: Although Kyanite may not need clearing/cleansing as often as most crystals, we suggest clearing your Kyanite as often as is needed, based on (1) the amount of use it gets (how hard is your crystal working for you?) and (2) the amount of energy that your crystal has been exposed to over a period of time. When clearing your crystals, always make sure that your intent is clearly stated, so the crystal knows that it is being given some time off and needs to recharge itself.

I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a complement to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care. The information offered here is based on a combination of my own personal experiences and that of others on using crystals for healing. My hope is that you will let your own intuition guide your path in working with crystals as well.
