Question:

"Can you use dried and not burnt sage to clear a crystal because I'm getting conflicting info. Some say yes, while others say no and is the sage spray ok to use on crystals that can get wet?"

Answer:

Hi C,

Thanks for your response.

You know when it comes to smudging, traditionally they used the dried smudge sticks for clearing but in today's modern times, I feel you can do more than the traditional method. Some folks even use dried Bay Leaves for clearing areas.
You indeed can use dried Sage, either in the Smudge Stick bundle form or even loose clusters.
You can use vibrational sprays, like a Sage Clearing Spray and because you're misting the crystals, then it should be fine for the more fragile ones like Selenite. I wouldn't recommend using the spray and then soaking your crystals in it though because then it wouldn't be much different from using water to clear your crystals of energetic debris.

At the end of the day, it's all about intention and the method you choose only helps to reinforce that intention.

I hope this helps clears things up but if you're still unsure, let me know and I'll assist you as best as I can.

Best wishes,
Siobhan Gouws-Moller
