Question:

"Hi. What is the difference of orange aventurine and red aventurine? To me, they look similar (because they are alike in color), but do they have different property of benefit? Thank you."

Answer:

Hi there I,

Thanks for your crystal question.

No there is actually a distinct difference in appearance.
Orange Aventurine is a peach to bright orange crystal that ranges from translucent to opaque. Orange Aventurine can be speckled with tiny particles of Mica which gives it a sparkly appearance. It gets its orange color from Pyrite inclusions.??

Red Aventurine is a red, translucent to partially translucent crystal. Mica inclusions in the crystal give Red Aventurine a shimmery, glistening sparkle appearance. Pink and Red Aventurine gets its color from Hematite and/or Goethite inclusions.

Side by side, this is what they look like:

Each have their own metaphysical properties and if you click on their names above, it will direct you to our crystal profiles for you to read about them.

Hope this helps!!
