I use the standard Chakra stones for meditating but feel I need more...I am Bi-Polar/Manic Depressive & have periods of deep depression. What stones would you recommend for this?
I also would like to know which stone is best for a deeper meditation/spirit connection? I have an Amethyst set in a necklace. Would you recommend me wearing this at all times?

Thank you
Sher

Hi Sher~

Thank you for checking out our web store. We are very happy to provide these metaphysical crystals to our customers, which hopefully help them for their various concerns. Let me see what I can come up with for your crystal recommendation.

Right off the bat, I am suggesting Lithium Quartz for working with your bi-polar and depression issues. Lithium Quartz is a wonderful complement to any therapy you might be doing. It actually contains the mineral found in the antidepressent of the same name. While one's experience with this crystal is much subtler than that of the drug, it can help many to adjust and adapt with a bit more ease. As a member of the Quartz family, it works with all chakras, and is a great healer. It brings calm and peace to the restless mind, helping one to relax and to release unhealthy attachments. Lithium Quartz is also a great sleep and meditation aid, which I know from personal experience. You can take a look at our Lithium Quartz offerings here: https://www.healingcrystals.com/Listing_by_Stone_Type/Lithium_Quartz/.

There are many, many other crystals helpful for meditation and spiritual work, too many to list here. However, here are a few examples for you:

Your Amethyst is great for spiritual connections and meditation. It is also spiritually protective, making it a nice piece to wear daily. However, if you wear this pendant often, be sure to cleanse and program it regularly. Amethyst is also helpful in relieving stress. While I see that you already have an Amethhyst pendant, in case you'd like to take a look at some other Amethyst specimens, here is that link: https://www.healingcrystals.com/Listing_by_Stone_Type/Amethyst/.

Another wonderful spiritual stone is Clear Quartz, which works with all chakras and is known as the "master healer" of the mineral kingdom. Clear Quartz is very protective when worn or carried, and can clear and align the chakras, bringing a sense of wholeness. It is helpful for entering a deep meditative state and is believed to promote one's contact with spiritual realms. Our Clear Quartz items can be found here: https://www.healingcrystals.com/Listing_by_Stone_Type/Clear_Quartz/.

One of my favorite spiritual stones is Phenacite. Working with the Third-Eye, Crown, and Etheric Chakras, Phenacite can raise one's vibrations to a higher level, and is believed to bring visions by activating the Third-Eye Chakra. It is also known to facilitate contact with the higher self and access to higher realms, by activating the Crown and Etheric Chakras respectively. When meditating with this crystal placed on or above the Crown Chakra, I have felt a high intensity flow of energy throughout my body, and a sensation of moving upward in my etheric body. Phenactie is also said to help one achieve deeper states of meditation. Our Phenacite selection can be seen at the following link: https://www.healingcrystals.com/Listing_by_Stone_Type/Phenacite/.

I hope these ideas help you in your progress. Many times, when we do our spiritual work, we find the emotional stuff begins to resolve itself. I wish you much luck on your crystal journey!

Peace,

~Crystal CAT
